 So you thought that Borat was as outrageous as any movie could get? Think again! Sacha Baron Cohen debuted a video excerpt on Friday from his new mockumentary style movie “Bruno” featuring a gay, Austrian fashionista and people are going crazy over it! Check it out, www.meinspace.com/bruno and you’ll see it showing the flamboyant, blonde Bruno crashing the Milan fashion show.

This character is truly outrageous, bragging about being the first Autrian to have bulimia, and that he eats tampax, as they ‘really fill you up and have zero calories’. Ahhh, now you believe me!  This guy’s nuts!

Well, if it can even come close to the comedic genius exhibited in Borat, I will be the first in line to go see it! It comes out July 10,  so be sure and wear your Borat tee when you go!

What great people, what a great show. I remember watching re-runs of it as a kid, growing up. They were funny, but they also managed to deal with some pretty serious topics. When I was a kid my mom used to watch The Golden Girls most every Saturday night.

Estelle Getty, who played Sophia, passed away last summer, and we recently lost Bea Arthur, as well. Half the original cast is gone, now. But we still have the old shows to watch and enjoy. If you’ve never seen Bea Aruther, pre-Golden Girls, she did a really cool tv show called ‘Maude’, that ran in the 70’s. That’s where she picked up her reputation for being so darn out spoken and opinionated! It’s hard to find, these days. But I haven’t checked Amazon.com, yet!

Ahhh, yes…the Wedding Crashers,  quote it all the time! This movie just get’s funnier everytime I see it! How can Vince Vaughn be that funny? He and Christopher Walken really made this movie a classic. Ofcourse, the movie wouldn’t have been complete,  if not for Will Ferrell’s cameo as ‘Chazz’, the true ladies man!

Crazy Dog has two t shirts that I have to have that are from this movie, one is a reference to meatloaf, as seen below, but I won’t repeat it here! The other has Chazz just ‘Livin’ the Dream’ , straight from his couch at his mom’s house! I’m not sure which one I like more, so I’ll just get both…LOL!

Voltron rocks!

If you’re a Voltron fan, I’m sure you’ve been hearing about it, too. My question is, what’s the hold up? There’s been talk about the new flick for around four years, and I still have yet to see a trailer!

Well, I did a little investigating, and here’s what I found…Mark Gordon ( produced Grey’s Anatomy, The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen) began developing a Voltron movie. In July 2005, producer Mark Gordon announced a collaboration with producer Pharrell Williams as well as producers Mark Costa and Frank Oelman to make a live-action film adaptation…which would most certainly rock. The project’s script has been completed, and negotiations started to adapt Voltron for the big screen. Here’s where it get’s sticky. Thanks to the overwhelming success of Transformers, everyone’s hand seems to want a cookie from the cookie jar, which makes sense, considering how much money the first Transformers Movie made and I’m sure the second coming out this summer will  make even more. Now there’s a battle going on for movie rights…great. This could be awhile, folks!

It was also known for cutting edge music, in the classic 80’s fashion, ofcourse. I was barely sitting down when I heard a voice from the other stall

“Hi, how are you?” I’m not the type to start a conversation in the men’s restroom but I don’t know what got into me, so I answered, somewhat embarrassed, “Doin’ just fine!” And the other guy says: “So what are you up to?”

What kind of question is that? At that point, I’m thinking this is too bizarre so I say: “Uhhh, I’m like you, just traveling!” At this point I am just trying to get out as fast as I can when I hear another question.

“Can I come over?” Ok, this question is just too weird for me but I figured I could just be polite and end the conversation. I tell him, “No……..I’m a little busy right now!!!”Then I hear the guy say nervously… “Listen, I’ll have to call you back. There’s an idiot in the other stall who keeps answering all my questions!!!”

You heard me right, Obama wants Paramount Pictures to do a private screening for him at the Whitehouse…have you ever heard of such a thing? Did someone fail to tell him that it’s the US Capital, and has no business hosting movie premieres? Should we start calling him our Trekkie in Chief?

Is there more to this request than we think? Some speculate that Obama oftentimes feel like Vulcan in the Whitehouse, so the New York Times asked the original Mr. Spock, Leonard Nimoy what he thought…

With all the file sharing websites that are out there, I can download just about anything! They say that artists are having to go on tour to make real money these days, as they can’t rely on record sales, alone. Cry me a river, really? I don’t know about you, but I might actually feel bad, if not feeling like I’ve been getting ripped off for years, paying $20 for a CD that I’m going to listen to one song of. Nowadays, I can get on Itunes and download the song or two I like, and don’t feel like I’m getting raked over the coals. I don’t mind supporting the artists and I enjoy going to see their concerts. I just don’t feel like making record companies richer, while my pockets get thinner!

Who would’ve  guessed that Jon, from the reality tv show, ‘Jon and Kate Plus 8′ is a playboy? I mean, he made eight kids right? Do we have any doubt that the guy may have an overactive libido?
